Studio Coni Stella - La Frangia

Coni Stella is a former factory that, in the 1950s, produced Stella ice cream cones in the Pigneto neighborhood. Since 2016, the building — home to La Frangia — has become a co-working space for artists and hosts art and music events, workshops, and meetings dedicated to politics and social issues.

Over the years, the space has hosted ongoing music workshops such as the Roma Balkan Lab Orchestra, Marco Omicini’s Jazz String Orchestra, Peppe Frana’s modal music workshop, and a North African percussion workshop led by Marzouk Mejri.

We have screened films and documentaries, including the premiere of Magnifiche e Progressive sorti by Todomodo Produzioni, featuring Renato Curcio, and organized events supporting projects focused on the protection of human rights.
